I can only really compare to FFXI but I preferred not having to move about while grinding. Each to their own though.
Just do the environmental colour pallete appealingly so the game does not look like total trash, that is all.

Healing mag pot definitely seems better than even double meld MND pieces for me atm. My set up has 31 H. Mag Pot and 37 MND and Cura goes for 1150+ without party buff.
