The tether probably going to interfere with some of the fights that's why they cut it. Example of this is in A3s when there are lots of tethers on screen.

It already is. All tanks' weapons have the same weapon damage. What you are looking for is potency for each skill, not from the weapon.

Isn't syncing down your damage and do full combo is going to be inferior to those that still at low level? Like the low level could obtain total damage of 100 in 2 hit while the synced have to do 5...
