I've been circling around the shrouds + Coerthas all weekend and every fish that bit has gotten away. My gathering varied between 352 ~ 369 (depending if I used a food) and they have all gotten away...

Never said you can't keep up, you just have to do a lot more work to find ways to "weave in your casts" so that there's no DPS loss while dealing with stuff like vine breaking,bulbs, boquets, voices...
