I can confirm the HQ version works. My brother accidentally had me put a battledance 2 on his sword, so I gave him my HQ double melded Aeolian Scimitar and he was able to turn it in for the quest.

I tried logging back in after I got dc'ed a 2nd time and it wouldn't work. Once I did the character create trick I was able to get in.

What are your guys' opinions on the Heavy Darklight Gear? Is it worth it trying to get all the pieces or is it better in the long run to try and get double/triple melded cobalt or Sentinel's gear?

I don't think there are any hobby/interest based linkshells on our server. That seems to be an extremely niche thing. I could be wrong though.

Your best bet would probably be to join a social LS...
