This is already mentioned in the link I provided in the initial post. And as I've said, as is my entire reason for making this thread- it doesn't work for everyone, and it doesn't work for me...
I waited 40, no fix.
since Heavensward, possibly even before.

Getting extremely tired of it and frustrated with having to deal with this over and over again....
Since only one team in the entire world managed it- just add pre-nerf T5 twisters to anything, job done.
My blackmage doesn't feel special enough. I want to dual wield twin Dalamuds to bring down on my enemies every time i cast fire
Also as a Roe I feel like I should be entitled to pick up and dual...

Same issue for me. Tried this, didn't work.
This is correct.
You have no idea what you're talking about, but you'll be quite confident you do regardless of anything I say. Sorry you feel that way.
You entirely misrepresent my argument. Never once did I say it /detracts from game/. What I did say is that, at a time when devs are already drastically overworked and underbudgeted, the first things...
And yet, people still loudly complain about parsers in spite of the devs being fine with them and acknowledging players do use them- official or not.
Successful long-term subscription-based MMOs with those elements: FFXI, WoW, Eve
Successful long-term subscription-based MMOs without those elements: n/a
In fact, MMOs that start sub-based but...
Carebear community exhibits suspiciously carebear-esque values. News at 11.
More or less my point. The trials were good content and implemented well. Fun stuff that gets the story done for people who only care about that, and has replay value for people who like collecting...
Well, let's entertain that notion. If I was a roleplayer, and if I know anything about anything, I'd realize that the things that matter to me most (glamour, expansive and immersive zones, HOUSING!)...
Wall of text incoming!
SE rarely gives exact numbers, but it's not hard to connect the dots when you look at their quarterly fiscal reports. FFXIV 1.0 cost over 400 million dollars to develop,...
Interesting characters and plot developments that cost tens of millions of dollars in development budget, and only get you to log on for about an hour every 3 months? Haaaaaaaaaaaaahahahhaha okay...
Preferably never. They could be injecting the time and resources into actual content instead.
The main problem with larger and more open-ended raids is that it puts the development cycle on a longer loop. Instead of raid patches every 3-4 months, it would be closer to WoW's development cycle...
You mean to tell me you don't find nonsense-talking goblins to be memorable or interesting villains? GASP
Do you like doing chores?
"yes": resub, enjoy
"i'm not sure?": resub, probably not enjoy
"hell no!": probably don't resub
mfw roleplayers complain about content designed for a comparably small demographic
-_-
ITT: more thinly-veiled "I wish this was FFXI-2" salt
never seen that before. fresh and new, just like 3.15 content.
Nice to see that after 3-4 years people will still complain about anything and everything in the official forums.
I guess all the people who didn't complain got banned.
