Stoneskin is an 18% effective HP increase for everyone you cast it on. It is NEVER wasted. That's ~1000 damage you're effectively pre-healing (closer to ~2000 for your average tank).

The glamour system is a bandaid over a shotgun wound. The game's clothing and armors simply suck.
