balmung might not be the best sample, since most of the rp population would opt for multiple chars i'd think. plus it's a legacy server so u have all the legacy folks runnin around with alt slots...

also worth mentioning: some people have their alts friended due to a bug early on in ARR, and they can mail stuff to their alts while the rest of us can't

i can tho... i mean, they can easily set up an fc for the chars on teh same account and keep the fc chest open for transfers. this is easy to do. it's only inconvenient for regular players because...
