It was a big issue to me actually. Voice 5 was originally my favorite voice as well but battle cries made me cringe hard. I ended up using voice 10 as it's the only voice with normal battle cries....

I tried using gamepad and thought it was horrible. Then I tried with a mouse and it was even worse! I feel like mouse mode still uses some sort of gamepad mechanics. It's just weird.
