Glad to see the community of Final Fantasy is still as toxic & delusional as before, can always count on it. Glad to see so many are happy with the broken game and impolite/uncaring community.....

Personally, the game to me plays like an extended BETA that's under development for a lot of tweaking and additions. CatofNineTails does have some good points.
So how do you explain getting knocked off the platform when you dodge behind Titan for a landslide? IE.. you are BEHIND titan, landslide finishes & you're knocked off in the direction BEHIND titan.....
I'm sorry 1990 wants it's attitude back.. it's 2013 and "big company" online games are just becoming sorrier & sorrier. F2P games are actually on par if not almost better than most & this is...
They may want to fix tab targeting & the fact it's hard to melee moving targets & no slow effects. Which also would benefit PvE GREATLY. Along with smoothing out gameplay... from the few PvP video's...
Whoa dude, you're saying to LIMIT the game even more than it already is? NO WAY, bro, def not. limits suck, give more freedom!
I must be misinformed, im not a technical person but FFXIV is the only game i've had technical issues with and from what i've read seems to be servers. And yes, SE is uptight about things that many...
SE is so uptight with everything... everything is server-side which is probably why things are so slow in-game. Maybe it's paranoia but idk what.
Best/friendliest economy ive ever seen is GW2.. u can vendor stuff for decent pricing and u cans till buy stuff off the AH.. You didn't go negative in cash all the time. I think having soley a player...
Wouldn't drawing priority be more of an issue in FATEs where you don't see the monsters, rather you see the players? aka "Culling" - But yes that is also an annoying issue. I read a dev post they...
well I'll be damned about the retainer... Didn't fully understand them in Ver.1 and now they are much easier but damn why did they have to make AH so complicated and non-universal? I appreciate the...
The problem is they have added both this 2.5 sec GCD along with poor server positional updates.. If ARR was modeled after current top games such as WoW & GW2.. why not have a smooth game and keep the...
So why is latency even an issue in FFXIV? Only when people started to do titan they discovered latency issues? No it's because that's when latency issues actually counted heavily. Prior to titan...
Allow me to disregard your post... ;-)
Btw.. #2 is just my own personal issue.. Worst end game community ever? (thread)
The fact is GCD is a general issue added with latency and inconsistency of...
I actually played WoW (upto end of cataclysm) & GW2... Maybe I was fortunate but I didnt encounter the lvl of immaturity that I find in ARR. Ver.1 players were nicer overall aswell. Then again there...
This isn't a Titan thread, the game doesn't revolve around titan. Working as intended latency issues just compounds the clunkiness of the game with 2.5sec GCD. How many times do healers have someone...
Part of issue #2, "disregard" the post, and ask an obvious question. Maybe if you didn't main a PLD you'd have more insight.
THE 2 major coincidental issues with FFXIV: ARR
#1 The game's faults
#2 This "new-aged" onliners
#1 The Game.... It's clear the game has issues all around: mechanics, basics, content, design,...
The MAIN issue with FFXIV endgame is the margin of error; GCD 2.5sec + latency within Duty Finder instances makes for frustrating gameplay instead of exciting. It's not "strategic" because it's more...
All the people telling this guy it's his problem and he was dumb for doing 205 runs, he should have gone for relic.. just goes to show how messed up: A) some of the community is & B) the way the game...
Wow :-( The other night I ran CM back to back and both times we had an AFK tank and no way to kick them. If people rly wanted to exploit, you technically can AFK farm 8-man dungeons without any...
I get hit with some AOEs in other duty finder instances as well.. last night died next to another player who was 100% fine because the skill went off 1-2 second after I move.
This has happened to me...
So going from JP legacy to US legacy made things worse? That's what i'm trying to understand. I've been asking around and many ppl tell me that JP servers actually are better & more stable as they...
Very cookie-cutter linear progression. They could at least allow end-game gear to be meldable so you could slightly customize your gear with materia (and I don't mean crafted items). A skill tree...
I quit version 1 after going through enough deaths when I clearly avoided the move... When they mentioned data centers within US region (I live in the US) I felt a renewed sense of hope.....
