If you use a "hasty" method of crafting frequently, surely you should know how common failing 3 out of 4 hasty touch is? They are the same % success rate, so it's the same frequency.

Your numbers themselves may be correct for your Memory vs "the best documented Makers Mark/Flawless rotation", but you are missing a huge factor.

Should things go bad and you miss the ideal number...

I have seen 2 items sell on Odin MB, both were priced at far less than the mats cost to make them. (they were priced higher, but the seller kept dropping until they finally sold).

For most of 2.x SMN was superiour or at least equal to BLM.

SMN did kinda suck during FCoB though.

While BLM may have it's place in a Speed kill setup, for the majority of party's I'm pretty sure SMN will make things easier.

You have a point, but a SMN can easily solo the first 2 adds, with very little dps lost on the boss itself, leaving the rest of the party to single target the boss. I would imagine this would atleast...

Pretty sure a1s better for SMN, better dps potential, easier kiting of adds.
