Yes I have seen that you need ilvl requirements to do field explorations at 5-10-15 etc

But there have been speculations that HQ gear on retainers as well as making them have the highest ilvl...

Even then its a chance of getting a unique item, sent 3 of mine on 18 hr ventures and all 3 still got trashy items

To me it doesnt matter if low level retainers bring back quality items now and again, this way you dont have to be a hardcore player to have a chance at getting one.

This makes it an even playing...

I traded ilvl90 items for seals not realising that I was equipped as a CUL and had to grind for 3 weeks to get them back

I was level 50 for a month running around with Garuda and kept seeing people saying to use Enkindle, realised I had to unlock it through a quest that I had missed/ignored

Yeah low level with and without gear are bringing good items, although you need a certain ilvl for certain runs, but thankfully all low level so far

Im also finding that 1 of my 4 retainers will come back with furniture, the others have pretty much found junk

Im having similar experiences, "2 deatsh and kick" or "only exp people" are always the requirements lately for Titan Ex.

Remember to dot up when possible, no need stand around if you can add a little damage, depending on mp of course

Because you cant have all that Def and expect high DPS, it would make for in-balance
