I think it's easier to DPS now now that we don't have to stance dance. The least we can do it apply a dot or something, especially if healing isn't a huge concern (ie levelling roulette).

This is a pretty awful idea, as you say tanks need the ability to practice as they level, EOS is a fundamental part of being a Scholar. Removing it would compromise on their ability to practice.
