I have two sets I use.

1) Full field commander for INT nuking
2) BiS Spell Speed pieces with 1-2 VIT accessories.

Can switch between sets when you're not in battle.

Be clear.
Be direct.
Don't be afraid to turn them around if they're making a bad move.
Keep people updated.

The problem I have with a controller is the fact that I can't heal things on the outside of a party, and it makes healing...

The only time I ever use Cure III is when the tanks are near eachother, or tanking together. (hydra, Coil 2)
