DPS is just to fill in downtime. If there's no downtime from healing then you're not expected to DPS at all. If you get time to toss out a combust now and then, great. If not, that's fine too :)

At 62 I still find AoE really boring. It is mostly just spamming scatter and very unsatisfying compared to incinerating trash pulls on BLM.

The last thing we want is for all the casting jobs to be basically the same. If you think RDM is so much better than BLM, switch!

Red mage and samurai are both easy and powerful. Starting from 50 it is much easier than levelling a job from 1, obviously. Also you can try them out properly at 50.
