I'm on Midgardsormr too and saw the "insufficient gil" error happen as well. I put everything in my retainer from the inn in hopes to keep it safe.

Is the gil being pulled out of retainers to make these purchases? Or is it only using gil that's on you at that time?

Okay, I did a bunch of testing and it does in fact boost my heals even though HP potency doesn't change at all. Thanks for the help everyone.

But again, det = self heals only, while +hp potency and crit = self heal + anyone else you heal. I'm still unclear to why determination would even be a stat on healing gear. And "some" determination...

Sorry I looked around for awhile and I couldn't find anything. It just really seems odd that they would put this stat on most of the healing gear when the ONLY possible use it could serve is to heal...
