Ogre Pumpkin Carve Off Contest: The REDUX (NA)

Once again, we’re challenging adventurers across the realm to get into the spooky spirit of All Saints’ Wake with a great Ogre Pumpkin Carve Off! It’s the season of frights and delights, so channel the energy of the Continental Circus and carve or decorate an Ogre Pumpkin in the theme of FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Those who make the best use of their pumpkin-carving tricks will be rewarded with some sweet treats!

Friday, October 19, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. to Friday, November 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time)

Theme
Carve a FINAL FANTASY XIV-themed design on a pumpkin or draw one on the given pumpkin template!

Prizes
Square Enix will select fifty winners (twenty-five from each category) from the North America region from qualifying entries.
Each winner will be given one (1) in-game item of their choice from the selection below:

Bluebird Earring

Noble Barding

How to Enter
1. Submit an image in one of the following categories:

2A. Carving Category
The digital image must clearly depict a pumpkin with your carving design.
Please feel free to take a picture of your pumpkin as is or when it's lit up!

2B. Drawing Category
The digital image must clearly depict your artwork on the template provided here.
Any method of capturing the image (scan of an ink drawing, tablet drawn image, photograph, etc.) is acceptable as long as the image is clear and non-blurry.

3. Entries must include the entrant’s character name, World name, date (month, day, and year), and title of the creation somewhere within the image.

4. Please review and follow this guide to uploading images to the Lodestone and posting the image on the forum.

You may practice submitting and formatting your post in the practice/discussion thread here.

Once you are ready, please submit your screenshot in the appropriate entry thread:

Be sure to include the following information in your forum post:
Your image.

Your selection from the available in-game prizes.

*If no in-game item is chosen, an in-game item will be selected for you.

Please note: Prizes will be delivered to the character on the entrant’s forum handle.

You must abide by the following rules and guidelines when submitting your entry:
One (1) entry per person. Subsequent entries by players who have already posted an entry will not be considered after the first.

Entries must have been created for this contest. Previously created items cannot be used to enter.

Entries cannot be edited after submission.

Prospective contestants must have a North America Square Enix Account to enter and must be in the US or Canada (excluding Quebec). Must be 18 or older (or 13 or older with parent’s approval).

Normal forum rules apply to all posts within the contest thread.

Square Enix reserves the right to remove or take down any content in its sole discretion.

Selection
The FINAL FANTASY XIV North American Community Team will select winners based on creativity, humor, originality, and overall execution according to the criteria listed above.

Winners will be announced on or about Friday, November 9, 2018.

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically located in one (1) of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):
The fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Canada, excluding Quebec.

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 13 years of age or older at the date and time of entry.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between October 19, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific Time) and November 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) (the “Entry Period”).

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:

Step One:
Create a piece of FINAL FANTASY XIV-themed artwork in either the carving category (i.e., carve an image into a pumpkin) or the drawing category (i.e., hand draw artwork on the template provided here).

Step Two:
Create a digital image of your artwork (the “Image”). The Image must include the date (month, day, and year) and title of the creation somewhere within the image.

Step Three:
Submit the Image in the appropriate entry post in the Final Fantasy XIV forum and include the following information in your Forum post:

You must not include any additional personal information in your entry.

Additional Rules:

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, shall select fifty (50) winners from among all entries using the following methodology:

The FINAL FANTASY XIV North American Community Team will select winners based on creativity, humor, originality, and overall execution according to the criteria listed above.
G. Prize(s): Square Enix will select fifty (50) winners, (twenty-five (25) from the Drawing Category and twenty-five (25) from the Carving Category from the North America region from qualifying entries.
Each winner shall receive one of the following prizes:

One (1) Ahriman choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)

One (1) Mandragora choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)

One (1) Bluebird earring (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)

One (1) Noble Barding (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)

[INDENT][INDENT]If the Winner does not choose an in-game item, the Sponsor shall choose an in-game item for them.

Prizes will be delivered to the character listed in the entrant’s Final Fantasy XIV forum profile used to submit the winner’s entry. Such prizes will be delivered on or around November 9, 2018. Prizes are transferable only to characters under the same service account as the Winner.

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify Winner(s) by or about November 9, 2018 by a forum post of the list of winners and in-game mail.

I. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix, Inc.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.
