Confusion about Hamlet Defense?

Is the 25/50 hour timeframe Earth hours, or game hours?

If it's Earth hours, this sounds absolutely terrible to me. That means the Earth day that the event runs would take what, 12 cycles to switch? So what happens to those of us who happen to not be able to log on that particular day? Personally I play on a pretty set schedule so it's entirely possible that will be the case.

Please tell me I'm an idiot and it's Eorzean hours...?

I think yes it's earth hour, but if i read it right, all this waiting hour will works fine when we receive 2 more hamlets. I made a quick graph on how i think it will work.

Colors represents different nations. We will not run out of things to do, they just cycling over and over again.

Edit:fixed chart, read the post wrong~ It's 50hour noncombat gathering phase and 25hr of battle phase. Brain farted.

When you have all 3 hamlets up and running there should be over lap of cool down / active states.

It could work like this:

Grid: begins 50 hour cool down
Limsa Begins 25 hour active mode
Uldah: 1/2 through 50 hour cool down (25 hrs left)

Grid: 25 hours left on cool down
Limsa: begins 50 hour cool down
Uldah: begins 25 hour active

Grid: begins 25 hour active
Limsa: 25 hours left on cool down
Uldah: beging 50 hour cool down.

Always a fight for DoW/DoM and always content for DoH/DoL

I'm pretty sure it's 50 hours of gathering/crafting followed by 25 hours of battle. I don't remember the patch notes mentioning any cooldown.

Isn't it 50 hour for supply -> 25 hour for battle -> 50 hour for supply -> ... ?

12 cycles to switch?

If you want gathering you got a nice 50hr to do it, thats 2 days!, then 1 day of fighting, dont make it on that day? wait 2 days n try again, then 2 more days n try again and so on.

When 3 are running it will be balanced out, 2 will be gathering and 1 will fighting, then they rotate.

Nothing more to see here...
