What is the optimum meld on Astral Choker/Ring/Bracelet for End Game DPS?

This is for BLM only, which I assume is your class and the focus of your question.

It really, really depends on what else you're wearing and what you're running. Just follow these guidelines.

If ignoring Coil: Piety until 251 > Determination > Critical Hit Rate > whatever
If going for Coil T1-4: Accuracy until 432 > Piety until 251 > Determination > Critical Hit Rate > whatever
If going for Coil T5: Accuracy until 432 > Vitality until over 4K HP > Piety until 251 > Determination > Critical Hit Rate > whatever

I am a noob on this so could you please tell me why 251 PIE is the magic number for coil?

It lets you use Thunder II after every rotation without sacrificing a Fire. It's not a terribly large DPS increase, but it's worth much more than a little extra Determination or Critical Hit Rate in its place.

OMG you are awesome. That is what I finish my rotation with like 317 mp and I need 319 mp to cast thunder II. I just have no gear to put piety in yet since it is DL/AF2 gear. Thanks for the information Sleigh.
