Grand company rank - Lieutenant

I changed Grand Company, I'm now a part of Gridania's Twin Adder.

I've managed to reach the rank of Chief Sargeant however I can't seem to progress to Lieutenant.

I'm aware I need to finish both Darkhold and the Lv. 2 hunting log to progress further. I have completed both of these.

Personnel officer asks I speak to Vorsaile Heuloix <Serpent Commander> as I am yet to 'meet his satisfaction' however whenever I speak to him he just babbles on.
Am I doing something hideously wrong?

did you complete the grand company hunting log level 2? or the class hunting log level 2?

to rank up past chief serpent sergeant you have to finish the entire story line, then a quest opens up at 50 for you to rank up with, well to unlock the option to rank up.
