FFXIV Freezes up PC. Please help.
FFXIV freezes up my pc completely but the music on whatever area i am in loops as it should. I cannot exit out of ffxiv when this happens. Even in windowed mode my computer is still locked up. I can move the mouse but can click nothing. Only way to move past this is to unplug power. Please help

Mmmh I think that you can only try a format..beouse i don't see usefull information to fix your problem (or first uninstall and reinstall FFXIV)

btw with a GT240 probably you have a lot of problem when you fix this problem..

the first thing I'd do is check the inside of the case to make sure you have adequate cooling, that all the fans are working, and no dust is caked on and around the CPU heatsink. remember to ground yourself to the metal case before touching anything on the motherboard. download Core-temp, and check for safe levels. http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

secondly, download Malwarebytes (free) and run it, then go from there. http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
