Final Fantasy XIV lore will first be told in-game, but in the future Yoshida will be looking into compiling it into a book and releasing it! :o

Some ideas of mine for future consideration:

Have it resemble an ancient tome, as if it was taken straight from a library from one of the main city states.

Have the content of the lorebook divided into sections, like Eorzean history, racial descriptions, city state overviews and history, bestiary, faction overviews and history, and technology.
