Recruitment Video

We are recruiting server-wide for ßeta and launch. If you are looking for a social and end-game content group then you might want to check us out.


Rendezvous Zone is an established linkshell (from Excalibur server) with veteran and new players plus more to come. It started with a few people willing to help each other out and in this way experience the game to the fullest. We ended up growing through the years and became a family. As a family we make sure no one is left behind and guide the new ones not only to be good players but also to find the most effective way to have fun while accomplishing their goals. Our events and active time are based on North America time zones. We are always looking for people wanting to be part of a group and not just to feel as player in a group. Very important:

We don't have a server where we'll be relocating to. Most of us come from Excalibur but due to the lack of information at this moment about how the servers will be distributed we will have to wait for a final decision on our new home. Now what we do know is that since we have a few Legacy members, we will have to choose an old server. Also it is very important to point out that this group consist of people with a life outside of the game and we will respect it whether in the LS or FC. In addition we are a not an elitist group and we will keep it that way. :)

Perks of an established group:

The major concern for any new players is to be left out/abandoned or ignored by the high level ones. This is not the case with us. With our group, you will not only have people from your level to start fresh but also you will have high level and skilled players with experience to help on your journey.

-- Help for hard quests or even an NM kill
-- Crafts by our high level crafters
-- Mentoring in crafting and gathering

But overall you will be part of a friendly and helpful community.

First they were bells, then they were quests; first they had to be crafted and were tradeable, then they weren't; some holidays were on, some off, some cancelled. So far, however, all items have been one-of-a-kind.

What are the plans for carrying the holiday item traditions over to ARR?

Do we get in the holiday spirit and have the first round of holidays offer all the items from the past? Or do we bar some/all of them off for future generations of players? I know I missed a couple myself, so call me selfish but I like the former option!

The Year of the _____ Kabutos are a bit iffy for repeats, but I think we should allow it this time. They made a Year of the Snake Kabuto and it's not like that'll be out on time for New Years 2013 without a time machine.

Barring the appearance of an official reply, what do you the community think?

probably just Summoner. They have only mentioned that they want to add a bunch of others, but since they haven't made any announcements, the chance of them being in at release is minimal.

But as DoL/H shouldn't you be doing what you're supposed to do with the class anyways? you got levequests for them anyways.
the reason is: they are NOT combat classes, so they should NOT combat.

the game is a fan service game, and they'll eventually (probably) add most previously released major jobs, and maybe new ones. DRK and NIN are popular jobs, and are high on priority list. Right now they want to add more mages first, since there's much less DoM than DoW. i guess maybe within half a year after release they will add some new jobs, by patches.
Gladiator won't suddenly be able to use 2h swords; if DRK comes from GLD, they DRK will use sword/shield too.

Hallo allesamt wir sind eine EU-FFXIV:ARR Endgame orientierte LS und suchen noch nach neuen Mitlgiedern um mit dem Start von ARR richtig loszulegen. Wir sind eine Neuauflage einer zu FFXIV 1.0 existierenden Endgame LS und hatten dort sämtlichen Content erfolgreich abgeschlossen doch lösten uns gegen ende hin auf aufgrund der fehlenden Herausforderung
auf.

Was kannst du von uns erwarten?

- sehr erfahrende Leute
- eine sehr gute LSstruktur mit exzellent funktionierender Ökonomie
- angenehmes LSklima
