    Please fix Bastion

    Had to do bastion again the other day and had forgotten how broken it is. It's another one of those self defeating events the developers seem to be so fond of (see campaign, will never take control of the north again). At best, the battles last 30 seconds now, on average they last 15 seconds, and can be as short as 5, the only way to extend them is to do silly repeatable quests that nobody cares about. Since no one does the quests, the battles will never be long enough to matter and therefore no one will do them except out of necessity. The fix for this is simple, make the martellos regen significantly between fights and increase the mobs hp a bit so they don't die faster than you can target them. Also, not sure how it works now but a nice added effect would be the preservation of your exp chain if you kill these mobs. More exp mobs close to the pulse martellos would be nice as well (like misereaux). This would allow you to run an exp party close to the bastion prefect and get periodic spike exp and cruor every time a battle pops up without breaking your chain.

    Tbh I think just increasing the martello's starting HP from 3% -> 10% would solve this, because even with a full wave of players defending it, chariot AoE moves tend to kill it in a matter of 2-4 hits.

    I am actually surprised it has not been getting any changes still as it always was promising, but had so many problems...

    Being more than optimistic here about them having ideas for improving this, but it would be nice to get some sort of confirmation of this, and of course, what they might be.

    Or at least give the players means to replenish the pulse martello (to a certain cap) via a Resistance Op or a repeatable quest, and with every successful defense (in succession) increase the cap of the martello.

    Ward Warden resistance ops do exactly that. Each completion adds a few % to the pulse martello and strenghtens the clone wards. Not sure what the point of those things is, since an enemy will just walk straight through them if some ranged attacker sits at the martello, or use ranged aoe that instantly frags the martello from outside the ward range.

    A single player will not do much, even an alliance has little effect. You'd need a whole linkshell worth to fill up a pulse martello to 100% from scratch.

    Seems like the best someone can do to delay the death of the martello is to have a few persons spamming diaga on the mobs before they get to the martello to grab their attention, but even that doesn't slow them down too much.

    It's thoes blasted bastion mages that end up losing waves for them. They open fights with -aga spells, pull all the mobs next to the martello, die, and then the mobs use random aoes that finish off the weakened, 3% martello without even needing to target them. Way to go, heroes!

    Most of the time the only way I can win one is to go BST, get TP on a pet with an AoE, and nail all the attackers at once ahead of the wards so they don't get in range to harm the martello. Even better if I can aggro them all far enough away that the NPCs don't attack them and cause them to run into range of the martello.
