    name change a second time

    is it possible to get your name changed a second time due to it being too long? i'm getting tired of being called Dark, my name on Quetzacoatl is Darkangelkadian, i'm hoping to get it reverted back to a shorter name?

    I asked this of a GM several months after the Mid/Quetz merger since I'd had to change one of my names that I'd used for 7 years in-game and never once saw the person on Quetz who had that name. I was told "No." So we're just SOL, Kadian.

    sounds so Mychael, i had Kadian's name for like 5 yrs, was forced to change it at merge but i never saw anyone with Kadian's name

    There is a way around this. If you delete your character, and make a mule with their name, the following month you can use the Character Reactivation Service and the game will tell you to rename your character because the name is already being used.

    Edit: The Service is down at the moment though, so if you want to rename I'd wait a couple months.
