anyone know how it enhances the effect? total guess here but maybe after use the next spell might not generate enmity??

I have no idea. Best I can tell Enmity Douse puts you at the very bottom of the hate list so it's hard to conceive how you would enhance that effect. Like you say it could negate future enmity generation in some way, but I'd think whatever it does it must be subtle. I don't have the +2s yet to test, but I'm sure a lot of people have and I haven't seen anything concrete on what the enhancement is.
