Does no one own an Ethereal Earring? Converting damage taken to MP does not eliminate the damage taken. You still take the damage, all of it. You just get MP back equal to 25% of what you took.

However converting damage to HP essentially does, which is what is being suggested.

Well like I said the % would have to be adjusted maybe. But this is what these forums are for supposedly. Giving ideas. Maybe 5% would be better? I'm still hoping the update to shield bash is actually good. If it does any less then 500 damage that would really suck.

Man...the Aegis seems like the best shield if you ask me. You can cap the MDT on a single piece, while capping PDT on the rest of your gear, now your wearing a full PDT/MDT gear set, without even having to swap out, wtf are you complaining about. Aegis in this respect, is by far the greatest choice.

Everyone wants to take a whole MDT gear set and PDT gear set seperately. Don;t you see this is making it so you can equip both MDT and PDT simultaneously without having to switch anything. It's the ultimate set up. Open your eyes.

Nothing in the game requires more than 50% MDT. or even less actually

1) why would you do this?
2)aegis bypasses the cap, it alone won't cap your mdt

Well you just stated, that nothing even requires a MDT of 50 percent, so if 40 percent is also "good enough", then wouldnt that be the best choice regardless, since you can have a MDT and PDT gear set equipped at one time. All im saying is, that fricken shield makes MDT "gear" useless, cuz now you can wear all PDT gear with 1 single shield to achieve the MDT thats "more than enough MDT"

i was picking on the word "requires", you can do 90% of the game nekked. Almost nothing requires anything

If you have big magic damage incoming, why would you equip pdt gear? Equip your aegis and mdt equip to get mdt-90%. If you're taking big physical damage, why equip aegis when it won't do anything for you, use ochain instead.
