Using a Mars orb freezes my character - Asura

Note: this happened after installing the Anniversary client update

When I trade a Mars orb to any of the BCNM access targets, my character freezes. The only control I have is camera and text and I am unable to access any of the menus. At this point I an even unable to use the /helpdesk function.

I am playing on a Windows 10 machine and have to use the Task Manager to quit the PlayOnline Viewer, then start the game again. This happens in any of the 3 required BCNM arenas for me.

    **Update**
I ran the Check Files tool in the POL menus and it found 241 corrupted files after the update. I let the tool correct the files and restarted the client. This worked and I am now able to use my Mars orb!

Trading Mars Orb freezes my character

The exact thing is happening to me on main character and all my mules in all three BC zones.

    *Update*

I ran the file check at POL login and repaired files. That fixed my issue!

    Thanks!

Are you using steam? I suggest a file check.

I had the same problem. I have the steam version, I ran the file check in the POL login screen and it repaired a bunch of files. I ran it a second time for good measure. Everything was fixed after that.
