In Waughroon Shrine, Burning Circle says "Ayame" and freezes me

Steps:

1.When you zone into Waughroon Shrine, the burning circle has been replaced with NPC "Ayame"
2.When you click on Ayame, it Freezes your character
3.Character animation stops and your character doesnt breathe
4.Only able to use chat command
5.Unable to do anything else such as bring up menu to log out or shut down
6.Only way to resolve freezing is by using Task Manager to shut down application

Update: I have run the check files program and it hasnt detected anything out of the ordinary or needed to repair anything. I have also completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. It has not resolved the issue. Others are also complaining of it happening to them.

2: Just like him i've tried run check files and even a new installation. with no results

I'm having the same issue as well but I have also noticed some npcs' names are actually "NPC" as well as some target-able spots called that as well. I think this issue was after an update I have received a day or 2 before this has happened. I was trying to do my 2-3 mission (Sandy) also in Waughroon Shrine. Wish I could start the mission over and see if the issue is with the one in Giddeus.

True!, me to, for example the moogle that hold your crystals in the crafters guild. He works but when i trade him crystals the animation don't show properly

I had the same problem. I have the steam version, I ran the file check in the POL login screen and it repaired a bunch of files. I ran it a second time for good measure. Everything was fixed after that. I just used a Venus Orb and it let me in.
