I'm sorry but this is nothing short of typical and not surprising at all. I've been posting time to time wanting to check on any sort of status regarding food from the time when Marine Stewpot was made in 2017. Now here come March 2019 when Tropical Crepe was made. I thought it was nice and all, but I'm upset on how This:
was easily approved. And for the long time starting from june 2017 I've been inspired to post this http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...at-combo-ideas as a way for creative ideas on new foods. I think in july 2017 they responded saying more food for the future
Here's more of my threads i made wanting to check in and my feelings on the topic
Jan 2018 http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...high-stat-food
August 2018 http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...rafts-with-Su3.

Now, I'm really upset how again this
which was posted on Jan 27th 2019, was approved in short time frame for Tropical Crepe, when asked about a new type of crepe.
So now it dawned on me that the result of Tropical Crepe was because of this post in very short time frame on the jp forums and not at all from any of the threads I made from being inspired to coming up with new kinds of food recipes I had posted for almost 2 years. All other crafts had alot of new recipes added in compared to food which were lacking of for new recipes. But at this point, I pretty much have given up. I feel that there's no trust between when it comes to which side of the forums you look at. There's no communication that isn't regarding to contests, campaigns or announcements. So what's the point anymore?
I really thought I was at least contributing for wanting more food recipes for culinarians that had been missing out for a long time since Marine Stewpot was created (like a large gap) , but now i fully get it. And that post inside the quote really proves with the lack of trust and communication outside of the jp forums. I didn't want to fully believe this was the case, but again there's no point of wondering when it's clear.
