Stuck between instance and Cutscene

Steps:
1. Had just finished battle for CoP miasion 8 - Dawn.
2. Was watching post battle cutscene when laptop battery failed.
3. Restarted computer and logged back into game.
4. Upon login, i see my compass, my name/hp/mp bar, send/recieve data, and status effects on top of screen (shell, protect etc), i also see the chat dialog box stating i have logged in and my linkshell message. Other than the previously mentioned, the screen is black.
5. After a briefe moment, my status effects and compass dissapear.
6. I can use chat box and communicate with linkshell and others, but i cannot use any menu commands, similar to being in a cutscene.
7. I have tried many troubleshooting processes to rectify this with no sucsess. For example i have tried to log in on a different computer with a differnt ISP. Set up port forwarding. Checked files. Fresh install. Contacted both SE support and GM using my other character (which logs in fine).
Update April 4, 2018 - version update did not help. Kleyman is stuck in a cutscene like black screen. Mouse cursor acts like character is there, but i cannot see him.
