now, as we are all aware, fastcast caps at 50%, everyone knows this, thats fine. however, what about when combined with spell casting time- (EG cure cast time-, enfeebling magic cast time-) since spell casting time- does not come with reduced cooldown, the 2 are not the same stat, the question is, does that mean they're calculated seperatly? if that IS the case, then can somone stack spell casting time - on top of that 50% fastcast and have it count, for example; a 90rdm/nin with AF1 hat and AF2 body gets a magorga bead necklace (utsemi casting time -10%) and casts utsuemi ichi with all 3 items on, would it cast the spell at 50% fastcast (essentially wasteing the neck), does the 10% reduction to utsu casting time cut into the 50% fastcast giving 40% fastcast 20% cooldown reduction and 10% spell casting time down for utsu. OR, and this is what would be nice, does it calculate seperatly, reducing the cast time by 50% for fastcast, then recalculating and reducing the remaining time by a further 10% (an effective 5% of the full 100% casting time or 10% of the remaining 50%)
This would be relevant for other jobs too, for example, a well geared white mage can easilly get 43%-47% (15% from cure clogs 20% from merits 8-12% for +1 or +2 orison pants) would fastcast gear (and traits from /rdm if being used) be irrelavent after 3-7%?
thoughts, oppinions, testing anyone has done would help
