Why does Cait Sith have a dark based sleep?

I've tried to land mewing lullaby on dark elementals and skeletons. Never works.
Out of curiosity I went to sky and used mewing lullaby on light elementals, and lo and behold, the sleep effect landed.

Why is this? Cait Sith is a light based avatar. It would make more sense if the sleep effect from mewing lullaby was light based. Any chance this could be changed? It wouldn't be a nerf either, obviously, since summoner's already have two dark based sleeps: Shiva and Diabolos.

Makes too much sense to get changed, you know how it is, They say we can't have Bahamut cause that would devalue him as a avatar so they release a joke costume of him, Odin needs our 2hr to summon and can instantly kill enemies but the more enemies the more chances of it not working and doesn't work on NM's to keep things in Balance but BLM's get death that doesn't need their 2hrs to use.

It's not like that's the only enfeeble smn has that doesn't match the element of the avatar. Shiva has dark sleep as you already mentioned, leviathan has slowga (earth), cait sith has eerie eye which inflicts amnesia (fire) and silence (wind), somnnolence from diablos inflicts gravity (wind), thunderspark from ramuh has paralyze (ice), lunar cry from fenrir inflicts eva down (ice) and acc down (earth), and probably more.

Maybe it's more useful for smn to also have a light based sleep to contrast the dark ones from diablos and shiva, but a light based avatar having a dark based sleep isn't exactly out of place considering all the other mismatched blood pact enfeebles.

True some are mismatched but still make some sense in the grand scheme, Cait Sith's 99 BP is also Distortion which leads to Darkness, but because she's a time traveler I guess it makes "sense".

All in all, She really needs a major revamp and they just need to get off their high horse and give SMN Bahamut. They dangled Phoenix and even Siren in front of our faces, and yet nothing....

True some are mismatched but still make some sense in the grand scheme, Cait Sith's 99 BP is also Distortion which leads to Darkness, but because she's a time traveler I guess it makes "sense".

All in all, She really needs a major revamp and they just need to get off their high horse and give SMN Bahamut. They dangled Phoenix and even Siren in front of our faces, and yet nothing....

Phoenix is literally the perfect one for the 1-hour could do Arise on all PT members, maybe even void of weakness, for argument's sake, the complete opposite of Odin.

Siren would be interesting.

Those status effects listed are only tied to 1 element though. Sleep has had two elemental properties for many years: Light and Darkness. Slow has always been earth. Gravity has always been wind. it would be odd to make an exception for Diabolos to make his gravity "darkness" elemental. I'm not asking for that for Cait. If 2 sleep elements already exist in the game, and one of which just happens to be light, and you're creating a light-based avatar, are you seriously going to give it the darkness version of sleep? That makes absolutely no sense on SE's part.
