    Trend Micro Antivirus deletes pol.exe

    Trend Micro sees pol.exe as a threat and deletes it. Just happened to me while playing FF XI. It says the threat is "TCP_ZEGOST_CONN-2.APT"

    I solved this by going into the Trend Micro log and pressing the Restore button. This restores the file and adds pol.exe to the exception list.

    Looks like these JP players need some help. For some reason, this forum won't let me post in the JP forum. Maybe someone could help them out?

    A JP player has made another thread and posted about "workaround" for this case.

    That post shows how to restore pol.exe.
    It worked for my case.
