smithing smock

needs to be an easier way to get smithing smock when u are a goldsmither, its really scary to mess with the levels and risk going back to 70.

SE probably don't intend people to get the apron for crafts that aren't their main, as such I doubt they'll make any changes to how this all works.

As for dropping to 70, I was under the impression that every 0.1 skill over 70 you get in smithing will take GS down by 0.1.

What is the risk? You can get all smocks now with the way the system has been adjusted. System was adjusted to 110 being max for 1 craft, and 70 for all others(not including fishing). So all you do is lvl normally to 70 and cap it to blue, which caps you at craftsman rank. While your doing this collect the 100k GP. Once you have the 100k GP, then take the rankup test to get to artisan, you'll still be 70 but not capped as indicated by the number not being blue. All you need is artisan rank and 100k GP to buy the item. After you have bought the item, talk to the guild master and revoke your contract with them and you'll be recapped blue at 70 for that guild. Repeat for all guilds you wish to have smock.
