...fishing broken?

I caught 36 fish then the bite rate dropped to zero (like when you cap). I know this was a slightly common bug years ago, you'd zone and it would correct. Not the case.

36 is quite a bit shy of 200, and I don't appreciate losing an entire day of a 7 day chance to cap the skill.

That's not really that abnormal especially at higher levels or poor targeting and the campaign is for synthesis not fishing anyways

It's ABSOLUTELY for fishing, of those 36 i got to catch, every single one skilled up.

Being that ive had 4 110 fishermen, I know thats impossible w/o campaign, and also that 36 is a ridiculous number for capping.

Every once in a while the game goes "no more bites" regardless of the amount you've caught, we've all seen it. I had hoped it might have been fixed in the last year.

Yes, my 99 all job account was on a level 1 job

How many casts has it been with what bait/zone/target? I've seen some rather large extremes (2 hours of none) before having gotten 4 to 110 too but they all eventually correct without zoning

Game capped my fatigue at 53 today. Quite short of the 200 mark. What the shit man.

Did they add some new system since the last time I fished (2014)? Something that multiplies fatigue based on skill gap...?

I vaguely remember any char under level 20 gets fatigued much more quickly.

BTW, since you bumped it, I was only allowed to catch 44 before fatigue cap today.

I guess my fatigue is 200 per week, not day.
