    Event-related

    • An event to further reforge relic, mythic, empyrean, and ergo weapons have been added.
      Oboro in Port Jeuno (E-6) has been further refining his techniques and is ready to share them with the world. Improving relic, mythic, empyrean, and ergon weapons requires possession of the weapon in question and the scintillating rhapsody key item.

      • Weapons that may be reforged
        • Relic Weapons
          The damage and combat skills of the following weapons will be increased via reforging.
          Spharai / Mandau / Excalibur / Ragnarok / Guttler / Bravura / Apocalypse / Gungnir / Kikoku / Amanomurakumo / Mjollnir / Claustrum / Yoichinoyumi / Annihilator
          * Aegis and Gjallarhorn may not be further reforged.
          Only item level 119 weapons may be forged, and those that do not have n afterglow effect will have one granted. Additionally, the weapons will receive an aftermath effect.
          * The details of the various aftermath effects are given in the items' help text.
        • Mythic Weapons
          The damage and combat skills of the following weapons will be increased via reforging.

        • Ergon Weapons
          The damage and combat skills of the following weapons will be increased via reforging.
          Epeolatry / Idris
      • Required steps for reforging.
        1. Be in possession of the scintillating rhapsody key item and an item level 119 relic, mythic, empyrean, or ergon weapon and speak with Oboro.
        2. Trade the item you wish to have reforged to Oboro to officially request that he reforge it.
        3. Trade the required items to Oboro as you receive them.*
        4. Trade the weapon to Oboro once more once you have given him all the required items to begin the reforging process.
        5. Wait until midnight (Vana'diel time) and speak to Oboro again to receive your newly reforged armament.
          * Additional weapons may not be reforged until the one you are currently working on has been completed.
          * The process may be canceled partway, but any materials you have traded will not be returned.

    • An event to have Oboro further enhance job-specific weapons has been added.
      Job-specific weapons crafted by Oboro may now receive augments. The attributes thereof are pre-determined by weapon.
      An applicable weapon and the scintillating rhapsody key item are required to enhance these weapons.

      • Required steps for augmenting
        1. Be in possession of the scintillating rhapsody key item and a job-specific weapon and speak with Oboro.
        2. Select "About the weapons."
        3. Trade the weapon and materials to Oboro. The materials you trade at this step will determine the materials required for augmentation.
        4. Trading the augmented weapon and materials to Oboro will increase the number of points required for augmentation. At a certain level, the augmentation rating will rise and the weapon will be enhanced.
          * The attributes may not be removed once augmentation has been completed.
      • Items required for augmentation
        Oboro requires one of the following types items to augment job-specific weapons.
        Pluton / Beitetsu / Riftborn Boulder
        * The type of item required depends on the type originally traded. Further augmentation will require that type of item.
    • The following objectives have been added to Records of Eminence.

      • Types
        The item list can be sorted either automatically or manually.
        • Changing Settings
          1. Select Settings from the Config submenu.
          2. Select your desired type from the Inventory category.
          • Type 1
            Stacks stackable items and sorts them by type.
            * This is the same as the existing sort function.
          • Type 2
            Stacks stackable items. If there are multiple items of the same name, they will be placed together at the top of the list.
            * This makes it easier for items you have just collected to appear at the bottom of the list.
    • A new key item category has been added for Geas Fete items.
    • A Mog Patio option has been added to the remodeling section of the Mog House menu in your home nation.
      * This feature is unavailable in the February version update.

    • An issue with the quest A Thirst Before Time in which it was possible to set a designated home point after viewing the event when zoning into Eastern Adoulin.

    Known Issues

    • When teleporting to a Wanted area via a Unity Concord NPC, the conditions displayed for teleporting to Gustav tunnel include the boarding permit key item.
    • In Walk of Echoes, defeat a monster in one blow without it detecting you will occasionally not register the kill properly.
    • The white magic spell Invisible can affect alter egos and fellows under certain conditions.
    • When performing a job emote under certain conditions, part of the emote will fail to display.
    • When equipping certain throwing weapons and activate the style lock function and then changing throwing weapons, the player's appearance will occasionally not be properly reflected.
    • When turning on the auto-sort function, certain items will occasionally fail to be sorted.
    • In Dynamis areas, wyverns summoned by dragoon-type foes will occasionally fail to disappear.

    • When a player using an indicolure spell activates the jump command, his appearance may not be reflected properly.
