Grammar is hard, yo.
That being said, any job with Aeolian Edge, or a BLU, or a WAR with Fell Cleave, etc can do similarly. If you're bothered about respawns, check another camp, there's usually a ton of them. But powerleveling a character isn't really an abuse; it's just that EXP in adoulin is so high that even with the level difference penalty, the lower-level person is still getting a bit and, through enough levels, reduces that penalty to a point that the EXP growth is more consistent.

Since GoV, SE has implemented numerous tools to allow for power leveling. Back in the day GoV had parties that never ended and people rode the stacking chain bonuses to level fast. Then Abyssea came out and characters could key in exp parties or afk in cleave parties. Since RoV and the huge bonuses to gained and chain exp rolled out, power leveling someone to 99 is even easier. So, given how many tools SE has provided for characters to power level (and the number of years various of these tools have been available) it's safe to say the current state of leveling is working as intended. Also keep in mind that in Escha zones cleavers aren't always power leveling but farming silt. My guess is that OP is getting out competed for mobs and thinks that taking away power leveling will decrease the instances of cleaving...it won't. The exp and ability to power level is mostly secondary for cleaving today. People generally cleave to farm silt. If some one is pulling all the mobs around you, send them a tell and ask if they could leave you a small cluster...or see if will let you join their party.
And what if they ignore him or tell him to f himself what then?
2016 and people still saying power leveling is not working as intended. What decade is this
Honestly most of the game happens after you hit 99 now anyway. It doesn't seem like much harm is being done. As said by others in this thread PLing mass xp is not limited to BST. If you enjoy earning xp on your own then good for you, but I'm glad there's a quick way to get jobs to 99 for those who don't have interest in low levels.

If they are cleaving on BST, not BLU they are not doing it right.

I disagree. A BST is almost equally capable with a good physical set using Bertha or the NQ, and I've seen plenty use Patrick + a good MAB set to AoE Fireball things almost as easily. The only difference is a slight dip into the wallet for pet food, but you should be pulling with a DT set to minimize your pet's damage taken anyway.

The increase in XP available at all levels, coupled with free trusts, has seriously eroded the marketplace for the selling of pre-made characters, since even the most casual player can now enjoy building their own character very quickly and easily, and wouldn't feel tempted to pay some shady person for a finished character. So the increased XP in all ranges was probably intended, at least in part, as a RMT countermeasure, and I would say that it has been very successful in that.
Most of the BST and other jobs I've seen who have the AFK person following them, they are usually friends with the AFK person and are helping them get a few levels. The point is that the BST (or w/e job) person was going to be farming that area anyway, for silt / beads etc. and they are not killing those mobs just because they have somebody /following them.
Its more like multitasking, person farming and offers to help friend get a few levels same time. I personally don't see anything wrong with that, it is playerbase friendship and kindness, the two qualities that have made FFXI the greatest computergame in the history of the Universe, and kept it online through all the years of Ups And Downs lol.
