    So, how exactly are these mounts going to be useful? 'cause if they're just reskinned chocobos, they're worthless, and this is wasted dev time.

    Whatever dev time was spent on them, they still managed to come up with a new battle system and wardrobe 2. I think there are some people out there that will really enjoy the mounts too.
