...You know, if you did a search, this thread has been made a fair number of times. ^^; There's even been a community rep reply to one saying that they had no plans to allow it.
[Kensagaku - formerly of Kujata] - http://www.ffxiah.com/player/Valefor/Kensagaku
I believe the dev response was "If we did that, we'd need to add more so the weapons all get a fair share." and they had no plans of doing so.
...Besides, I recall Glory Slash being OP as hell XD
He once sold his soul to Promathia for a rare drop. He later won it back in a drinking contest, before beating up the twilight god for good measure.
He's won dance-off trophies from the Republic of Bastok, the Duchy of Jeuno, and the Yagudo Theomilitary.
He's won entire arguments with a single leer.
He is the most interesting galka in the world.
Only replies I saw when doing a search was in the following topics:
Weapon Skills - Do we get new ones? (Originally Posted around 8/16/2011)

Pretty much not concrete but not 100% not going to happen. I sense a "We do not plans to implement this" from the devs if they see and reply to this topic tho.
...but then I HAVE been proven wrong before by the moderators.
