The quest "Breaking the ice" in Kamihr Drifts is softlocking the game. After trading the requisite items to the npc, it brings me into a cutscene which then gets stuck in a black screen. Menus cannot be accessed, and no abilities can be activated, as per usual in a cut scene but it never loads, forcing me to hard close the game. Relogging and talking to the quest npc again only results in getting stuck in the cutscene.
This mission is vital to continued exploration as the "Fragmenting" reward is required to access the rest of the area and places beyond.

You have to do this quest without Windower or else that will happen. Log in with vanilla and it will work fine.

IIRC, you complete the quest even if you don't view the complete cutscene. Just close the game, restart, and you should have it complete and the necessary key items.
