Japanese text input on English client

Could you make IME support possible on the English client so one can type in Shift-JIS or other Japanese encoding?

That has been asked for the enitre life of the game. They won't do it because of the increased cost of tech support calls they would get, and the cost of licensing of the IME they use on consoles. ATOK charges ~$60 US per head for their IME license. If you can type Japanese, you can read it, so you may as well download the JP client from the web site.
