New player here. Just being curious.
Will beastmaster tamed pets follow it's master to another zone (non city/town)?
If not, is it being implemented?
Will a tamed pet wait for you when you zone into and out of a city/town?

To answer all three of the above: No.
A pet, whether charmed or summoned via Call Beast, will simply be released and despawn when you change zones. As far as I know, no such feature is being implemented. That being said, while zoning to other areas tends to be a bit of an annoyance, there's not many situations in which you really need to zone with a pet, at least at current max levels. You'll generally travel to your choice of destination before bothering to summon your pet.

Makes me wonder if the tamed pet is the level you tame it?
Or does bsm have a summon ___ list like the summoner?
Unless I have some burning question that needs answering, I think this is all the questions I have for bsm.
Generally:
If your BST is 1-99, your pet called via Call Beast or Bestial Loyalty will be:
0-6 levels below the beastmaster job level, but up to the cap of the jug pet.
If your BST is 1-99 and you have Monster Gloves +2 and you have 5/5 Beast Affinity Merits:
0-2 levels below the beastmaster job level, but up to the 10 levels higher than the cap of the jug pet. (2 for each upgrade to beast affinity).
If your BST is 99 with a iLvL axe and you have ankusa gloves +2 and 5/5 Beast affinity
Your pet is the level of your mainhand axe up to 10 levels beyond the cap of the jug pet.
It's all explained here:

BST has jugs, so no we don't have a "summon list" we have pets based on available jugs. You equip a jug to summon a pet.
Or you can charm creatures out in the wild, but other than while leveling, that's not really used anymore. (And I don't even think people do it much while leveling anymore as it is a bit of a pain)

Um the link you have actually disagrees with what you typed a lot.
Without any gloves or BA merits or ilvl mainhand weapon jugs will be 0-2 below the lvl of the bst or the ilvl of the mainhand up to the natural cap of the jug.
With Monster Gloves/+1 they will be 0-1 below the lvl of the bst or the ilvl of the mainhand up to the natural cap of the jug
With Monster Gloves +2, Ankusa gloves, Ankusa gloves +1 or ilvl mainhand weapon they will be the lvl of the bst or the ilvl of the mainhand up to the natural cap of the jug
With BA merits the cap of your jugs cap will be increased by 2 lvls per merit or 3 lvls with Augmented Monster Gloves +2, Ankusa gloves, or Ankusa gloves +1.
While I agree leveling up with charm is probably not done much anymore because jugs are better than they used to be and there is a lot less risk, I still feel it was more fun leveling with charmed pets.
I've had a lot of good times in this game, but leveling beast is still one of my fondest memories, and I leveled back when you lost exp if you didn't dismiss your pet before the mob died and where when you hit leave, the charmed pet could stay and turn on you. I'm sure I died more, but it was a lot more exciting.
I use jugs now and still enjoy bst, just very differently than I did when I leveled up.
I didn't play that far back, but I did most of my leveling with charm as well. I just don't think people want to spend that much time leveling anymore, lol. Also charm messes with trusts - can't call them while you have a charmed creature so it can get in the way a bit. I agree it's really fun though. But the game has changed, and people playing it have changed.
