2015 Anniversary Event Bug

I got the behemoth costume and started the "accumulate 100 ws" event. I accumulated 23 points in a few tries, but after the next try, i got the following message:
Final Score: 1 point.
0 points earned so far.
You have achieved rank 422258500

I thought it was a glitch and tried again with the following result:
Final Score: 1 point.
0 points earned so far.
You have achieved rank 422258729

Something seems really broken at this point to me...

It does that if you get low points. It is still actively counting them.

I recieved that numerous times on my alt characters. I was still able to complete the events and get 100 pts. It doesnt actually return your points to 0.

You're not doing practice mode by chance are you? The one where it puts a star next to the WS you should use.

Naw, I saw the same thing doing the event yesterday.
It also sometimes "reset" my points to 0 only to put it back to the right number the round after.
