A concern with the Rhapsodies Missions.

I was doing the mission where you have to kill Ophiotaurus. Stupid me, I forgot to summon my alter ego NPCs before starting and chose to run from the mob to the tower, zone in, come back, summon my alter egos and then fight the mob..... I had noticed that someone had defeated the mob (thinking it was one they popped from the Undulating Confluence) But apparently, when I clicked on the Undulating Confluence to spawn the mob, I went directly into the next cutscene.

Not thrilled with the fact that I unintentionally played chicken, with the actual intention of resetting that fight and having my trust npcs out, and got credit for the kill that I didn't make. I'm hoping the other ??? fights don't act the same way.
