2015 Tarutaru Punting Olympics on Phoenix! (Entries open!)

Hello everyone! Souyo of Phoenix here and I am reopening a long lost sport that hasn't been played since back in 2006 on Fenrir.

I of course mean the Tarutaru Punting Olympics!

Rules are easy, One of the Tarutaru Volunteers will take his/her place on the field, you run up, do /em punts <t>., and then follow it with a /random.

Everyone will get three heats, highest average will win!

All races may apply! Even other Tarutaru!

    First Place Prize: 250k Gil

    Second Place Prize: 150k Gil

    Third Place Prize: 75k Gil

This event is hosted by me specifically, and will run for two days! There is no price for entry, just gimme your character name and join everyone on the date given to you!

Dates will be released soon, so don't miss your chance! Come find me on Phoenix and get your punt on!

Names will be taken down as they are received.

If you are unable to make it, your name will be removed from the punting roster.

Ahem, if I may suggest an alternative to punting via /random, there's something we used to do on Unicorn, once upon a time, that we called curling.

The tarutaru in question puts the current contestant on /follow, the contestant arranges himself and his tarutaru follower however he likes behind the punting line, and then changes gear. The tarutaru that "lands" closest to the target point (or whatever) wins~

We use to do a variation of it on Shiva. Go to Lufaise Meadows across the Bridge to the Sacrarium. The bridge was the "Bowling Lane". The goal was to get the person on follow and "Bowl" them into the entrance alcove.
