• A new system, Unity Condord, has been added.
    • What is Unity Concord?
Unity Concord is a new system devised and promulgated by the Adventurers' Mutual Aid Network (A.M.A.N.) Pleased with the rousing success of the recently introduced Records of Eminence, the A.M.A.N. has pledged to build upon their successes and take the next step toward bringing adventurers closer together.
    • Unities: New NPC-Run Factions
The main attractions of Unity Concord are organizations known as "Unities." There are multiple Unities, each run by one of Vana'diel's more popular personages. Adventurers are able to select a Unity they would like to join to further that leader's cause.

      • Unity Accolades
Accolades can be earned by completing Unity-based Records of Eminence objectives. A small amount can be earned from non-Unity objectives and defeating certain monsters. The accolades can be used in a variety of ways, from participating in the Wanted battles described above to purchasing items, enhancing equipment found in Wanted battles, teleporting to Wanted battle staging areas, and more.
      • Wanted Battles
Wanted battles are confrontation-style fights* that charge adventurers with slaying particular notorious monsters.
Completing a Wanted objective will reward players with equipment and other items.
The following prerequisites must be met to participate in a Wanted battle.
        • Be in a party or alliance of between three and eighteen players**
        • All party members must accept the requisite Wanted objective
        • All party members must possess the required number of accolades
          * In this style of battle, neither other players nor other monsters may interact with participants in the battle, which takes place in a specific area.
** When tackled with seven or more players, the Wanted target's HP will increase in line with the number of players over six.
    • Unity Chat
A Unity chat channel has been added to facilitate communication between members of the same unity. This channel is the same as others such as say and tell with regard to chat settings such as font color.
      * As of the November version update, up to sixty-four people may participate in Unity chat at any given time. This upper limit may be increased in a coming version update.

    • Unity Rankings
Unity rankings are tabulated and announced every week (Earth time). Rankings are decided based on an average of the individual evaluation of all Unity members during that week. This individual evaluation is calculated at the rate of one point per 1,000 accolades.

The attributes of equipment earned in Wanted battles and the amount of accolades earned vary based on Unity ranking. Higher ranking Unities enjoy increased equipment stats, while lower ranking Unities are afforded a bonus to the number of accolades earned.
      * Rankings are announced at midnight on Sundays (JST). Players who have not received at least 1,000 accolades are not counted.

  • Changing Unities
Players may switch Unities by paying a certain number of Accolades to an A.M.A.N. representative. The fee charged depends on the difference in ranking between the current and desired Unities, with transferring to higher ranked Unities requiring more accolades. Once a Unity has been chosen, players cannot transfer again until the following Sunday at midnight (JST).

    * Additional features and content for Unity Concord are scheduled to be added in future version updates.
