Fishing freezing game

Is anyone else having massive fishing issues? I swear I'm freezing every other cast.

Its a bug, someone debuged it and reported it to SE but nothings been done.

Can only assume SE put it there and keep it there to stop botters, while screwing over all the legit fishers.

I hung up my rod, to much bother logging in 10+ times a day.

I posted it as a bug and it went into the duplicate bug section. SE has confirmed this as a bug since March or so of this year but they haven't touched it at all. It has sidelined my fishing completely and will likely cause me to sell all my fishing stuff and be done with it. Can't stand activating my pelican ring only to crash 2-3 fish later. Guess on the bright side the Lu Shang's rod will bring in some nice gil

We apologize for the wait. We have currently pinpointed the issue and we're working to address it. As long as everything goes smoothly, we should be able to get this resolved in the March version update.

Even worse I'm told someone who reported how to fix it got in trouble for doing so...
