[EU] Regarding the Issues Occurring Since August (Sep. 10)

Regarding the area issues we have been experiencing since August, we have confirmed that the problem lies with the data of certain augmented items. When characters possessing these augmented items attempt to take certain actions, this causes the zone server to crash.

We are working as quickly as we can to address this issue; however, it appears that this may take some time. Until then, we plan on implementing temporary measures to primarily keep the servers from crashing. As for the maintenance to implement these temporary measures, we will inform you in a separate notice once the specific date and time has been determined.

We are sorry, but until these temporary measures are in place, if you should be disconnected from the game during play, we ask that you please wait for a while and try logging in again.

Regarding the issues, we have implemented a temporary fix with the emergency maintenance that occured on Sep. 10, 2014 at 11:00 (GMT) to prevent the area servers from going down.

Regarding the area issues we have been experiencing since early August, we implemented temporary measures during the maintenance on Sep. 10, 2014 11:00 (GMT) to prevent area servers from crashing. Because of this temporary solution, however, when characters possessing these augmented items attempted to take certain actions (such as moving the cursor over it in the inventory, selling it, discarding it, or equipping it), this may cause the client to freeze.

We confirmed that the issue is being caused by the following augmented weapons:

Faizzeer +2 / Iclamar +2 / Iizamal +2 /
Qatsunoci +2 / Kannakiri / Shichishito / Aedolt +2 /

* Augmented weapons obtained before the version update on Aug. 12, 2014 are unaffected.

We plan to implement temporary measures to address the client freeze issue in the coming days. We will release further details on this as more information becomes available.

These measures to address the area server crashes and client crashes are only temporary and will be supplanted by more permanent solutions in the near future. We ask for your continued patience and understanding as we work to resolve these issues promptly.
