I'm in the same boat. I literally just reactivated my account yesterday and all I wnat to do is play. After jumping through all of the hoops to get everything up and running with the reactivation, I've left my 360 on for over 6 hours two different times only to come back with a POL-1160 error. It takes an hour just to get through the "checking files" part...
I did some research on the problem and it looks like this problem can be traced back to 2011. How can there be no solution for this yet? I haven't found anything!
Does anyone have any suggestions?
It's extremely frustrating and I really don't know what else to do. I'm on an Xbox, my network is fine.
