And mug can now steal enemy HP if merited...but ya I feel ya.
This is just another example of SE having a complete disconnect as to what the player base wants for THF.
Hey, better than nothing, at least with the JPoint HP Mug we get another Dynamis JA proc, I think SE knows exactly what Thief is good for.
Soloing outdated content for gil.
I know I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth but THF was in need of other updates long before a mug update and it's only real utility comes in the form of JP which is a solid 25+ hour grind for 1 category.
So would you rather they didn't reduce the timer?
I wouldn't quite say that but I would say that changing the timer is inconsequential. Even with the HP drain mug will be utterly useless as long as you're /dnc and if you are /nin for that rare case it's needed the amount of HP you'll steal is negligible. I mean your basically looking at a Cure IIIish on a 5 minute timer that you need to grind out 1.5 million Capacity Points just to get in the first place. So, in my opinion whether or not they did change the time doesn't matter because it will have no impact at all so they might as well have not changed the timer. I guess it's better than nothing but I would have taken a 1 hour ability that's a copy/paste of an ability we already have... oh wait.

Anyone play around with the mug drain effect yet? I've used it a few times. I have one point in it. I was hoping the mug bonus from the relic head would increase the amount drain, but I see no increase in health drained with it on. I only have the 109 version and was wondering if anyone noticed a significant boost when using the 119 head.
